New Research from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine demonstrates that common oral bacteria, Fusobacterium nucleatum (Fn), is linked to colorectal cancer (the 2nd leading cause of death in the United States) by turning on oncologic (cancer) and inflammatory responses. This new information contributes to the growing body of evidence that oral health plays a very powerful role in our systematic health.
